The YUFE alliance has launched a new scheme to celebrate the broad diversity amongst its staff and students. The YUFE Diverse Perspectives initiative is asking members of its community to share their stories, values and beliefs and the aspects of their identity that have helped them develop into the people they are today.
The aim of the project is to highlight how diverse the YUFE community is, whilst highlighting that within that broad diversity some people will have faced similar challenges or had similar opportunities which have shaped their lives.
YUFE wants to support staff and students to reach their potential, whatever their background or experiences and this project in one of many YUFE initiatives to a enable YUFE staff and students to be their “true” selves in a safe and supportive environment.
